I've been getting some very good reviews recently both for my close up work and children's shows. For children's shows you can post your own review on www.childrensentertainerhampshire.co.uk ; You need a Google account to do so but opening one is easy and free.

The British Ring of the International Brotherhood of Magicians

At the AGM held in Great Yarmouth in September 2012 I was delighted to be re-elected to the council which oversees the running of the organisation.  I should like to thank everyone who voted for me. 

The 2013 convention will be held in Buxton, Derbyshire from 4th to 8th September. Having just visited Buxton with my wife for the first time we were very impressed with the place. I urge everybody with an interest in magic to register for the convention and even spend a few extra days exploring the delights of the area. April 2013

Easter is over but as I write this there is snow coming down though it is fairly light.

I've had some good bookings recently including entertaining children at a family oriented pub, "The Wyvern," in Lee on Solent for three hours on Easter Saturday. February 2013

With Christmas a distant memory bookings are now building up after the usual January lull, though this year January was better than usual. A highlight for me was entertaining guests at 30th birthday party for a lady with special needs - a rewarding evening in many ways. Whether you want amazing sleight of hand magic for adults or entertainment for a children's party please give me a call for a no obligation discussion of your precise requirements.

July 2012

Just had a very busy weekend peforming close up magic at a 70th birthday dinner party in a hotel in Fareham on Friday, two successful children's shows in Southampton and Woking on Saturday and close up magic at a wedding in Haslemere on Sunday from which I arrived home just in time to see Federer serving to win the Wimbledon final. The wedding season is now here and a busy time in July and August lies ahead.

June started well with several Jubilee parties where I entertained both children and adults with a mixture of magic and plate spinning.

May 2012

Recently I performed at a 40th birthday party for a lady with learning disabilities. The close up was a bit taxing regarding selection of effects because of the disabilities of several of the guests but the birthday girl particularly liked Coinvex where coins are bent in the hands of the helper. I normally borrow coins for this purpose but on this occasion used my own and was running out of money by the end of the session having been asked to repeat it so many times. The cabaret was particulalrly satisfying and I came away pleased that I had brought a little magic into the lives of a small number of disadvantaged people.

March 2012

With Spring in the air a lot of people are booking magicians for their weddings.  I've already taken more bookings for weddings in the last two month than I actually performed at in the whole of last year so is this a sign that confidence is returning?  If you are planning a wedding and would like a touch of magic added to your special day then give me a call. I can entertain over drinks in the bar before the meal, round the tables between courses and then keep any children occupied during the speeches.

Finished my financial year on 31st March with a flourish, a wedding in Southampton at 6.00pm followed by a 40th birthday at 9.00, so a busy evening and both shows went very well.
